Yurbuds Inspire Duro Sport Earphones TESTED + REVIEWED
The Inspire Duro is the more durable version of the entry level Inspire model sports earbuds offered by Yurbuds, it also features slightly better sound quality. The Inspire Duro is still quite “bare bones” not including a remote or microphone, which in my opinion is ideal while running, as the plastic housing attached to a control or mic can cause annoying cord bounce. The Duros come with two sets of Yurbuds proprietary silicone enhancers in small and large, which are the main selling point of any Yurbuds product as they do a good job locking the earbuds in place during strenuous/sweaty activity. Yurbuds is known for their excellent customer service as they will send you additional enhancers for free if the ones included with your device do not fit. Just be aware that if you live outside of the United States, you may be charged customs brokerage fees ($20 to Canada) as for some reason they will mark your additional enhancers as a “sale” when they are actually sending them to you for free!
The Duros feature a “tangle-free” (which I found to tangle quite easily) Kevlar cord that more durable then the cord included in the entry level Inspires. After a few months of heavy use while running, the Kevlar cord began to bunch up, even exposing the wire in some places, however they still work great after a year and a half, so that issue appears to be ascetic.
